DIY blog Manhattan Nest shares an ingenious step by step way to achieve privacy and “glaze” your windows for next to nothing that is easily removed. This is really simple folks, all you need is a cheap cotton sheet large enough to cut up for the glass you want to cover, a paint brush, some corn starch, and stove to make some corn starch paste on. Cut the sheet to fit, iron it nice and smooth, and then paint it on to the glass with the cornstarch mixture. The starch will harden and effectively glue it to the glass.

When it’s time to remove it, just wet the cotton with hot water, peel it off, and then wash the windows to remove the starch residue. You can check out the full guide at the link below or visit their update to the project here.
